Justin Bieber: 'Let's Shoot a Music Video!' in Space

Richard Branson has announced that Justin Bieber and his manager Scooter Braun have been named "Virgin Galagactic future astronauts," but the teenage singing sensation has plans that extend even beyond space travel.

"Let's shoot a music video in SPACE!!" he Tweeted Wednesday evening. "#nextLEVEL"

A call to a rep for Bieber has not been returned, but this is not the first time the singer has discussed doing something in space. "I wanna do a concert in space," he tweeted in February. (NASA responded via Twitter, "Maybe we can help you with that.")

Tickets to board Virgin's rocket-powered SpaceShipTwo start at $250,000 per person, and other celebs who have reportedly expressed interest are Ashton Kutcher and Leonardo DiCaprio.

If test flights continue to go well, Space.com reports that Bieber and others may be able to make their trips to space as soon as this year.
