Backstreet Boys Premiere 'In a World Like This' Music Video on 'GMA'

The Backstreet Boys are back, alright!

The iconic boy band is celebrating its 20th anniversary by releasing a new album, "In a World Like This," on July 30, and heading out on a world tour.

Today, in a " Good Morning America" exclusive, the Backstreet Boys debuted the music video for their new single, " In a World Like This."

"The concept of the video is based on the song, which tells a story of how love conquers all and 'in a world like this' that we live in, with all the craziness and negative energy that can go around, with real love you can overcome anything," band member A.J. McLean told "GMA."

The song, featuring all five original BSB members - Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, A.J. McLean and Kevin Richardson - packs the same pop punch that fans loved in old-school hits like "Quit Playing Games With My Heart," but also has a message.

The video explores three "huge moments in history," McLean explained: the first landing on the moon; the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, in which Americans came together in the face of tragedy; and marriage equality.

"Marriage equality is an ongoing issue for years. BSB wants to show our support for the LGBT community and we believe that two people of the same sex should have the right to get married," McLean said.

The group first announced its new album back in May on "GMA" and performed a new song, "Permanent Stain," and the classic hit, " Everybody," for fans in Times Square.

The "In a World Like This" tour kicks off Aug. 2 in Chicago. To learn more, head to their website, www.backstreetboys.com.
