See Katie Couric's Impressive Engagement Ring
Katie Couric proudly showed off her impressive engagement ring last night at the U.S. Open in New York.
Couric, 56, became engaged Labor Day weekend to financier John Molner, 50, her boyfriend of nearly two years, and she couldn't wait to show off her new bling while taking in a tennis match.
The "Katie" host's ring, close to the width of her finger, is a cushion cut with a simple band. In other photos, the happy couple were seen enjoying the match, smiles from ear to ear.

Both Molner and Couric share roots in the Midwest. Her new fiance is the head of mergers and acquisitions at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., based in Chicago, the same city where Couric's parents met.
Couric told USA Today in May that her mother Elinor really likes Molner. She must like him even more after seeing the gorgeous ring.
This will be Couric's second walk down the aisle. Her first husband, Jay Monahan, died of colon cancer in 1998.
