Chris Pratt was once a stripper in a small town, who couldn't afford a proper stripping costume.

While on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" today, Pratt, 34, spoke about his past as a "low rent 'Magic Mike.'"

"When I was a kid, I was in a small town. I was a stripper for a little while, for a little while," the Virginia native told DeGeneres. "It was very low rent."

So low rent that the "Parks and Recreation" star only made make $40 each time and did it just three times, he said.

"I did bachelorette parties in my hometown, my friend's grandma had me," he joked. "I wasn't good."

He was so bad, that he said he couldn't even afford a cop outfit on his budget.

"I would just like slowly, awkwardly dance," he added.

Pratt also revealed that he and wife Anna Faris want to add to their family, which already includes son Jack, 1.

Pratt made headlines this summer after he took a shirtless selfie in preparing for his upcoming movie "Guardians of the Galaxy."

He took to Instagram this weekend to show off his washboard abs and bulky biceps, adding, "Six months no beer. #GOTG Kinda douchey to post this but my brother made me."
