Kraft Announces Velveeta Shortage You might want to stock up on Velveeta. Some grocery stores in the East have reported that they're cleaned out and that new shipments aren't coming in. The makers of Velveeta say the shortage should be fixed in the next few weeks. "Just read about a Velveeta shortage. Between that and the weather are these the end times?" one cheese fan tweeted.

Lindsey Vonn Out of Sochi Olympics Skiier Lindsey Vonn broke the news today that she would not be competing at next month's Olympics in Sochi. Her right knee is still too unstable after a high-speed crash last year. But as Vonn pointed out, there's now an open spot on the American Olympic team, meaning someone else can go for their dream.
