ABC's Bill Weir Returns to Japan to Report "Tsunami: One Year Later"
Reports to Begin Airing Friday, March 9 on "World News with Diane Sawyer" and "Nightline"
Nearly one year ago the people of Japan battled against the devastating combination of earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear emergency and over 15,000 people lost their lives during the historic crisis. ABC News "Nightline" anchor Bill Weir recently returned to Japan where he traveled across the country to revisit the places and people ABC News reported on last March to see how the lives of the Japanese people have changed. Weir's reporting will begin airing Friday, March 9 on "World News with Diane Sawyer" and "Nightline." Reports will also air throughout the weekend on "World News with David Muir" and "GMA Weekend."

The anniversary of the earthquake is Sunday, March 11. Bill Weir anchored "Nightline" from Japan during the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami last year.
