'Starry Night' Re-Created in Dominoes

A re-creation of Vincent Van Gogh's famed painting "Starry Night" in dominoes has brought attention to domino expert FlippyCat, who uploads time-lapse videos of his creations to YouTube.

Van Gogh's painting took 7,000 dominoes and more than 10 hours to build but only seconds to send crashing down, of course.

" The second attempt took about 11 hours total to build," FlippyCat wrote on the website. "The first attempt failed when I dropped a screw from the camera rig onto it. I was able to improve the swirling clouds better in the second attempt as a result though. The star that is left standing was very close to falling, but the first dominoes held in place."

The dominoes specialist has also re-created country flags, Christmas wreaths and a Rubik's cube.
