Nine-year-old Samantha "Sam" Gordon, who became an Internet sensation after a video of her football skills went viral this month, will now have her picture on a Wheaties cereal box.

The pee-wee superstar from South Jordan, Utah, was shown the cereal box for the first time live on " Good Morning America" today. "That's awesome," she said.

Sam's dad, Brent Gordon, posted a highlight reel of her tackles, touchdowns, and rushes past all of the boys in her league on YouTube two weeks ago and it went viral, getting millions of views and turning Sam into a mini-star.

Sam appeared on ESPN Sunday alongside former NFL stars Warren Sapp and Marshall Faulk, who analyzed her moves, and last week she even got to practice with the San Francisco 49ers.

"It's been very awesome," she said today on "GMA." "I kind of just threw the ball around with them and it was really fun."

Wheaties said they picked Sam because she's an inspiration to other young girls and aspiring athletes around the country.

Sam is the standout star of the nearly all-boys Ute Conference football league, which she joined this year after coming out on top among the 172 kids in her district in nearly every speed and agility drill during tryouts. With 35 touchdowns, 65 tackles and nearly 2,000 rushing yards this season, her stats would make an NFL scout do a double-take.

She has gained a celebrity sports following on Twitter too, with NFLers like Desmond Howard and Barry Sanders tweeting about her.

"The Heisman race is wide open," Howard tweeted. "Any of you want to throw your name in the mix? Sam Gordon is my front runner right now."

"That video is impressive," Barry Sanders tweeted. "Looks like I've found a girlfriend for my nine-year-old."

But for Sam, whose real love is soccer, perhaps the most exciting shout-out came from soccer star Abby Wambach. Wambach tweeted that she was a fan of Sam's skills.
