Dave Zinczenko Joins ABC News as Nutrition and Wellness Editor

ABC News President Ben Sherwood sent the email below to the news division announcing that Dave Zinczenko will be joining ABC News as Nutrition and Wellness Editor. Zinczenko made his first appearance Thursday morning on "Good Morning America."

I'm delighted to tell you that David Zinczenko is joining ABC News as our new nutrition and wellness editor. He'll appear on all our programs and platforms, helping our audience understand the whole picture of healthy living, from diet to exercise to sleep.

David is a well-respected expert who for decades has guided millions of people to make healthier choices.

An award-winning editor and author, David wrote the bestselling Eat This, Not That! series, as well as the New York Times bestsellers The Abs Diet and The 8-Hour Diet. His company recently announced a major deal with Random House for a new series of healthy lifestyle books under the Zinc Ink and Galvanized Books imprints.

David is currently the consulting editorial director of Men's Fitness magazine. For 12 years he was the editor-in-chief of Men's Health and editorial director of Women's Health and Prevention magazines.

A familiar face to television viewers, he has been a frequent contributor to NBC News, Oprah, Ellen, The View, The Biggest Loser, The Doctors and Dr. Oz.

David has a true gift for distilling fitness and nutrition information into easily understood, practical advice. His broadcast savvy and wellness expertise will help our audience know what to eat and how to stay fit for a longer, healthier, happier life.
