World's Largest Hotel Beds
If there's one thing most everyone's looking for on vacation, it's a good night's sleep. Besides blackout shades, a comfy duvet and the right temperature, there's one thing that's crucial to catching up on your Zzzzs . . . a big-enough bed.
Getting a big-enough bed isn't a problem at these three hotels, with sizes ranging double king to a double California king. One hotel even has a bed that sleeps eight people, if you're so inclined to invite seven friends along. The Lloyd Hotel & Cultural Embassy, Amsterdam
The hotel is the first one-to-five star hotel in the world, meaning that guests who stay in one of its 117 rooms may be having vastly different hotel experiences. Of course, it's the five-star rooms that impress the most, all with at least one feature designed to surprise. One has a swing dangling from the wooden beams, another a grand piano and one with a bed that sleeps eight people.
The Villa by Barton G., South Beach, Miami
On South Beach's Ocean Drive, housed in what used to be the Versace mansion is The Villa by Barton G., 10 hotel suites, some of which feature double-king sized beds. Think luxury all the way: Personal butlers, poolside lunches and a private rooftop lounge for guests.
