Vice President Hosts Delaware Fundraiser for Son, Beau Biden

The vice president and Dr. Jill Biden are in their home state of Delaware this weekend where today they will host a fundraiser for their son, state Attorney General Beau Biden, at their home. The younger Biden is up for reelection to a third term next year.

Beau Biden assumed office in 2007 and his father has made a habit of campaigning for him over the years. Tickets to today's gathering cost $1,200 a pop.

However, like many fundraisers the Saturday event is closed to the press and there has been little word about the attorney general's recent health issues.

In late August Beau Biden, who suffered a mild stroke in 2010, underwent a hospital procedure after feeling weak and disoriented on vacation. He has made no public appearances since and his office has been mum on specifics.
