Kim Kardashian Gives Kanye West a Steve Jobs-Signed Apple Mouse
Who knew Kanye West was so nostalgic for Apple products? Father's Day seems to have come a bit late for the rapper who tweeted this morning a photo of two Apple Pro computer mice adorned with the autographs of Apple founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.
"One of the other gifts my girl gave me for fathers day pic.twitter.com/WnlZaMhVtw," @kanyewest tweeted with the photo attached.
West had a baby daughter named North West with Kim Kardashian last month. It is unclear how much Kardashian, 32, who West recently said was his "true love," paid for the two individually signed mice, although it is rare to find items that are autographed by both of the founders. Autographed Steve Jobs memorabilia ranges from $200 to 6,000 on eBay.
So what would Kanye, 36, want with two Apple Pro mice from 2000, 11 years before Jobs died at age 56? No, West isn't likely a fan of the transparent, button-less gadget, but instead is a big admirer of the iconic Apple co-founder Jobs.
10 Memorable Quotes by Kanye West
"I think what Kanye West is going to mean is something similar to what Steve Jobs means. I am undoubtedly, you know, Steve of Internet, downtown, fashion, culture. Period. By a long jump," West told The New York Times in an interview last month. "I honestly feel that because Steve has passed, you know, it's like when Biggie passed and Jay-Z was allowed to become Jay-Z … I will be the leader of a company that ends up being worth billions of dollars, because I got the answers. I understand culture. I am the nucleus."
Jay-Z has shown his side in the modern computing battle, releasing his upcoming "Magna Carta Holy Grail" album first to Samsung Galaxy S4 owners.
We guess we now know where Kanye's loyalty and clicks lie.
