Don't Freak Out If You Haven't Booked Your Private Jet to Cannes Yet
What a headache it would be traveling to Cannes, only to realize you forgot to book a private jet.
Thankfully, Uber has the rich kids of the Cannes Film Festival covered so they don't have to make the journey from Paris to the south of France on a commercial plane.
From May 12 to 18, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., deep-pocketed jetsetters can pull out their Uber apps and request a private jet to whisk them away from the the Bourget Airport just outside of Paris to Nice.
Each flight, which is booked through Goodwill Private Jets, will cost €6490 (nearly $8,930) and can carry up to four passengers.
And while shocking, if your friends are the kind to split hairs over a dinner bill, don't worry. Uber will let the passengers split the cost of the flight through its app.
After landing in Nice, passengers will then be whisked away by a private driver and taken to their final destination, which one can only assume would be just as fabulous.
