Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva have finally come to what looks like an amicable agreement.
ABC News has learned that the Hollywood actor/director has agreed to give Grigorieva, the father of his nearly 2-year-old daughter Lucia, $750,000 as part of their custody settlement. A California judge declared today that the couple will have joint legal and physical custody of Lucia.
At today’s court hearing, Gibson and Grigorieva also agreed that no books can be written by either party about the other party, even if the books are authored by a third party.
Gibson and Grigorieva’s relationship became the subject of scrutiny last year after recordings purportedly of Gibson berating Grigorieva and photos of a battered Grigorieva were published online. In March, Gibson pled no contest to charges of misdemeanor battery against his ex-girlfriend; Grigorieva also filed a domestic violence claim against the star, which was later dropped.
