Bill Clinton Turned Down ‘Dancing With the Stars’

You wouldn’t think you could top the casting of  Chaz Bono and Nancy Grace on “Dancing With the Stars.” But it turns out it could have been Bubbalicious.

In an interview with Rachel Ray former President Bill Clinton revealed that he was asked to be on the show but “told them I didn’t have the time to train for it. You know you actually go out there and you train, you really work at it.  So I had to pass. But I think it’s a hoot.”

The entire Clinton clan are apparently big fans of the show. “I have a 92-year-old mother-in-law who watches it religiously.” said Clinton referring to Hillary Clinton’s mother, Dorothy Rodham. “She thinks I would be really cool if I made it, but I had to pass,” he said.

“Just last night, Hillary said to me ‘You know, when I’m not secretary of state anymore, we should go take dancing lessons,’” he said.  ”So we’ll start with the tango.”
