Looks like the romance between ‘Dancing With the Stars’ pro Mark Ballas and ‘American Idol’ contestant Pia Toscano has hit a sour note.

According to People magazine, Ballas and Toscano “mutually decided” to call it quits after a heartfelt conversation. When the pair first stepped out in April, it seemed like a match made in reality TV heaven. And despite her shocking early elimination from “Idol,” it seemed as if Toscano might have found a much bigger prize while filming the show. But according to People, their busy schedules were ultimately what led to the end of their relationship. While Toscano’s wrapping up the “American Idol” tour and putting the finishing touches on her debut album, Ballas has been getting ready to hit the dance floor with another reality star, MTV’s Kristin Cavallari, for the new season of “Dancing.”
