Stars Flood Emmy Post Parties

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer pose at HBO's post Emmy Awards party.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — No matter that they were all up against each other at the ceremonies: At Sunday night’s Emmy after parties, TV’s finest mixed, mingled, drank and danced in the way that host Jane Lynch envisioned them at the top of the show — like one big, happy, dysfunctional family.

Comedy Central’s bash at Hollywood’s Hamptons themed Colony nightclub hummed with anticipation of one VIP: Charlie Sheen. A party goer told ABCNews.com that executives from the cable network plan to hunker down at Sheen’s Beverly Hills mansion to watch his Comedy Central roast tonight. After months of railing on his former bosses at “Two and a Half Men,” CBS, and pretty much all of TV in general, it looks like the Warlock is trying to get back in Hollywood’s good graces.

Stevie Nicks performed at “Entertainment Tonight’s” party. The “Mad Men” crew celebrated the show’s fourth straight victory at the Mr. C Beverly Hills Hotel. But HBO’s fete at the 1,200,000 square foot Pacific Design Center was the place to see and be seen. There, “Entourage’s” Perry Reeves got introduced to “Two and a Half Men” creator Chuck Lorre. Jon Voight dished about his love for his grand kids. Jon Hamm and Jeremy Piven posed for photos with fans. Chris Noth did not.

Regardless, spectators and stars alike seemed content, fueled by a virtually endless buffet, free flowing drinks and a deft DJ. A smiling Kid Cudi surveyed the indoor/outdoor emporium as the night wound down: “This is pretty cool.” Indeed, it was.
