Boyz II Men Back With ‘Twenty’

To celebrate two decades in the music business, Grammy award winning R&B group Boyz II Men are putting out “Twenty,” a two-disc album with twelve new songs, most of which are penned by the group’s members, brothers Nate and Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman.

They haven’t forgotten their bread and butter, though — disc two is comprised of nine older hits, including “A Song for Mama,” and “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday.”

Similar to past albums, Boyz II Men collaborated with Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds for several songs. “ Twenty” also includes a feature from former lead vocalist of The Gap Band, Charlie Wilson. It’s being sold exclusively through Wal-Mart.

First announced in 2009, the album was supposed to include the original quartet. But due to personal issues, former member Michael McCrary did not join in making the album.
