ABC News journalist, best-selling author, popular television personality and soon-to-be daytime talk show host Katie Couric will fill in for Regis Philbin next to Kelly Ripa on Tuesday, October 11th. On the morning talker, Katie will join Kelly in welcoming guests Dylan McDermott (“American Horror Story”) and Anna Torv (“Fringe”). Katie will also share her mom’s pear and jello recipe as part of “Co-Host Cook-Off Week.”

Katie Couric’s new nationally syndicated talk show “Katie” will premiere in September 2012. The highly anticipated one-hour daily daytime show will be distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television.
