In true “Real Housewives” fashion, another season of the Bravo reality show’s hit New Jersey franchise is ending in a round of blows.

In a new twist, the blows are verbal, all played out on Twitter.

In a decidedly not-new twist, “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice is at the center of the fight.  This time, at the other end of the ring or, in this case, Twitter feed, is Jacqueline Laurita, a once-close friend.

Giudice cryptically tweeted last week, “The rumors are getting ridiculous.  Let’s get this straight: I LOVE my WHOLE family.  Would never do anything to hurt them.”

Laurita’s response?

“Teresa is scum,” she tweeted from @JacLaurita.

“There is even a lot more to the story that will eventually come out,” she wrote of Giudice.  “She’s no good and, yes … she has stabbed me in the back plenty of times.”

The Twitter war between the two Housewives started last week after the whole cast attended a fashion show for local clothing boutique Posche, while cameras were rolling for Season 4 of the hit show.

Laurita began implying on Twitter that Giudice was spreading rumors that a fellow Housewife, Giudice’s sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, once worked as a stripper.

“Teresa told me that ‘rumor’ about Melissa when she first started the show,” Laurita tweeted Saturday. “She wanted her out then. She knew. She plotted it. She played dumb on camera and even defended Melissa.”

Giudice has remained quiet on the accusations, which Laurita kept flinging.

“There is even a lot more to the story that will eventually come out,” Laurita wrote of Giudice. “I’m not so forgiving anymore.”

Gorga stayed off Twitter but took to her website to refute the stripper rumor.

“We are filming season 4 so there is not too much I can confirm, but there is one thing that I would like to clarify … the accusation that I was once a dancer at a strip club,” Gorga writes. “This is 100% NOT TRUE.”

“The reason I am so adamant about clearing this up is because people are making false accusations solely to hurt me and my family,” she continues. “Someone desperately wants to knock me down and prove that I have something to hide, but then tries to cover it up by putting the blame on production.”

As her co-stars continued to feud online, another Housewife, Caroline Manzo, was in more usual territory Sunday night, back on TV, appearing on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live.”

She remained tight-lipped about her co-stars but gave a hint to the current tension.

“To all of the fans out there, they are going to watch it unfold before their eyes, so just lay back,” she said.  “Relax, you are going to see it happen in Season 4.”

Asked by show host Andy Cohen about the current status of her own relationship with Giudice, Manzo would only say, “Watch the finale.”

Who exactly among the cast mates will be on the Season 3 finale, airing next Sunday, remains to be seen.

Laurita now claims to be stepping back from the drama, hinting she won’t be part of the current season’s finale, or back for Season 4.

“I can’t be part of the Charade anymore,” she wrote.  “It’s unsettling. It’s disturbing & against what I stand for. I’m a REAL housewife.”

“I feel nauseous and feverish,” Laurita continued in a tweet after the fashion show at Porsche.  ”No reunion for me. Sorry guys. XOXO!”

Later, she reiterated her point, writing, “I’d like to only focus on positive things now please. I threw the trash out. I’m cleaning now and reorganizing. Starting fresh and new.”
