Steven Spielberg Working on ‘Jurassic Park 4,’ ‘Indiana Jones 5′

Another “Jurassic Park?” Indy again?

Both could happen. In a new interview with Empire magazine, Steven Spielberg revealed that screenwriter Mark Protosevich, known for his scripts for “Thor” and “I Am Legend,” is drafting “Jurassic Park 4.” Spielberg told the magazine it’ll blow 2001′s ill-received “Jurassic Park III” out of the water. He also said that despite the not-so-favorable reviews of “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” he’s down to do Indy 5.

“George [Lucas] is in charge of breaking the stories,” he told Empire. “He’s done it on all four [Indiana Jones] movies. Whether I like the stories or not, George has broken all the stories. He is working on Indy V. We haven’t gone to screenplay yet, but he’s working on the story. I’ll leave it to George to come up with a good story.”

Action fans, rejoice.

WHY??!! I mean….I can see MAYBE trying to redeem the horribleness that was Jurassic Park 2 and 3….but just leave Indy alone so we can continue to pretend like the Crystal Skull never happened! I love Spielberg, but someone needs to tell Mr. Lucas to PLEASE STOP RUINING MY CHILDHOOD!!!

I have personally been waiting for news regarding ‘Jurassic Park 4′ since 2002; almost a decade. I’m a hardcore fan of the trilogy and I would watch that movie religiously. That movie inspired me to be a Scientist and ‘re-animate’ Dinosaurs one day! Oh, childhood dreams. I would really love to be one of the first to see this movie! I’ve waited soooo long! For the past six to seven years I would constantly search the web for news on a JP4! This makes me so happy! :)
