You’ve heard the music, revisited the fashions and caught up with the stars of hit shows on “Good Morning America’s” Totally Awesome ’80s Week, but we couldn’t end the week without bringing you back to some of the most iconic moments in ’80s movie history — “GMA” style.

Robin Roberts had some fun reenacting the iconic scene from the 1982 classic movie, “E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial.” The story of a little boy named Elliot doing all he can to help his alien friend find his way home, topped the box office and warmed the hearts of moviegoers. Just like Elliot, Robin hopped on her own bike and rode in front of a green screen in the studio to bring that memorable scene to life.

Lara Spencer and Sam Champion had a movie moment of their own, teaming up to recreate that memorable piano scene from 1988′s “Big.” Channeling Tom Hanks and Robert Loggia. the duo headed to FAO Schwarz to try to master “Heart and Soul.” It took a few tries, but in the end, they hit all the right notes.

And don’t forget about Josh Elliott, who donned a trench coat and lifted his own boom box overhead in Times Square Wednesday as a throw back to Lloyd Dobler’s iconic moment in 1989′s “Say Anything.” Peter Gabriel’s “In Your Eyes” filled Times Square outside our studio.
