Ashton Kutcher, Lorene Scafaria ‘Just Friends’

Ashton Kutcher (@aplusk) tweeted this photo of him, Lorene Scafaria and friend Matt Mazzant in Italy.
Ashton Kutcher is speaking out about the lady friend he spent the holidays with, and he’s putting the emphasis on friend.
“They are just friends,” Kutcher’s rep tells People magazine of his relationship with Lorene Scafaria, the writer-director who penned “Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist.”
The pair spent the holidays in Italy, but the actor’s rep said it was just business.
“They are working on a potential project together about an Italian soccer team,” Kutcher’s rep told People.
The “Two and a Half Men” star, who split from wife Demi Moore in November, tweeted a photo of him, Scafaria, 33, and business partner Matt Mazzant in Italy on Monday.
“Roman holiday with homies,” he wrote.
Us Weekly had quoted witness Alex Thorpe as saying that the pair enjoyed a romantic lunch in Pisa on Christmas Eve, where they “held hands” while sharing spaghetti, which he paid for.
Scafaria was linked to “The O.C.” star Adam Brody until recently, but Us Weekly’s sources say that she and Kutcher have been romantically involved since February, long before his official split from Moore. (Moore filed for divorce from him in November following a rash of reports about his alleged infidelities.)
Representatives for both Kutcher and Scafaria denied the story and told Us Weekly, “They’re just friends.”
