Wynonna Judd Gets Engaged, for the Third Time
Break out the bubbly in Nashville, Tenn., Wynonna Judd is getting married, again.
The twice-divorced country superstar is engaged to her musician boyfriend of nearly two years, Scott "Cactus" Moser, a rep for the couple confirmed to ABCNews.com today.
Holiday celebrations for the couple, who also work together, turned into a very "marry" Christmas after Moser, 54, proposed to Judd, 47, on Christmas Eve.
A wedding date has not been announced, but it will mark the third time down the aisle for Judd, who rose to fame as a country music duo with her mother, Naomi.
Judd's four-year marriage to her former security guard, D.R. Roach, ended in 2007 after Roach was charged with three counts of sexual battery against a minor.
Judd split from Nashville businessman Arch Kelly III, the father of her two children, Elijah, now 17, and Grace, 15, in 1998.
The personal and professional couple are currently touring together as "Wynonna and the Big Noise." Moser is the longtime drummer for the band "Highway 101," whose No. 1 hits include the songs "Somewhere Tonight" and "Cry, Cry, Cry."
Judd and Moser's engagement caps a comeback of sorts for Judd, whose struggles with her weight, her family and her love life have been an open book.
She and her mom reunited last year for their first tour together in 10 years, all documented in a reality series on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network.
Their mother-daughter reunion came after Judd survived two health scares in March 2010, followed by a head-on car collision four months later.
Those scares prompted the singer, also the sister of actress Ashley Judd, to address her weight problems, losing 55 pounds through brain-state conditioning, she told People magazine in November 2010.
