The stars looked oh so glamorous at the Golden Globes Sunday night, but those fashion trends aren't restricted to the red carpet. It's easy to pick up on celebrity style cues and make affordable outfits for everyday life.

Marie Claire's Senior Fashion Editor Zanna Roberts Rassi took some of her favorite looks from the red carpet and transformed them into affordable, ready-to-wear outfits for every day of the week.

"Look at the red carpet and pick and element what you like," Roberts Rassi said on " Good Morning America." "Don't take the whole thing or it will be overkill."

To prove your days can look as glamorous as your nights, members of the "GMA" staff modeled the looks.

Jolie, 36, sizzled in a satin, champagne one-shoulder gown, set off with accents of fire engine red. We asked you to weigh in on the GMA APP about which look you most wanted to see transformed, and Jolie took the top spot with 37 percent of your votes.  To rework it for daytime, Rassi paired a sleek off-white blazer and cropped pants with pops of red accessories.

Alba wowed in at the Globes in an embellished Gucci gown and showcased the popular pastel phenomenon - a trend that's easy to translate to the everyday. To make pastels edgier, pair a pastel top with a leather skirt or pant, Rassi suggested.

"Homeland" actress Claire Danes took home a Golden Globe for best actress in a drama and also won rave reviews for her modern, black-and-white dress by J Mendel . Our ready-to-wear version plays off the black-and-white and modern lines but can be worn for work or play.
