Perhaps its backlash over the hype from Kim Kardahian’s 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, or just the normal trajectory of any unexplainable flash-in-the-pan phenomenon, but the country’s long national nightmare regarding the Kardashians might be ending.
According to the New York Post, anything featuring the overhyped, raven-haired reality show family is turning “absolutely toxic.”
From nosediving ratings for “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” to tanking sales of magazines featuring the Kardashian clan, it appears the obsession over the camera-ready clan is ending fast.Kim was once paid upwards of $600,000 just to appear at a Tao’s New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas, and she and Khloe were often sought-after — and incredibly well-compensated — party guests the world over. But not so now, say party promoters who once ponied up thousands to get them in the door. “I’d pay her $600,000 personally not to go to Red Egg,” said Travis Bass, co-owner of the New York City nightspot. “Kim Kardashian would be crushing to us.” R. Couri Hay, a publicist who’s worked with them in years past, now hisses to the Post, “I’m bored with them,” and can’t imagine hiring, “Kim Kardashian and her little clunky sisters” again.
The Post reports circulation for the gossip magazines that were once Kardashian country — Us Weekly, In Touch, Life & Style and OK! — dropped nearly 18 percent in December when any member of the clan graced their covers. The paper also points out that Kim was dropped by sneaker-maker Sketchers in 2011, and “replaced her with a French bulldog.”

I knew after the wedding scandal Kim K was going down. No one stays married for that short of a time with that much hype and comes out unscathed. I feel she is a very empty person- just a shell really and it is very sad. I think others have finally really seen this and have tired of them. They is nothing authentic or interesting about collecting paychecks for what? I mean what exactly do these guys do. Shame on everyone all of us for allowing these guys to be able to pull in the amounts they’ve been able to for so long. It’s sad- because they’ve asended to a place where they had no business being and the reality of the laws of physics say they will have to fall as far- it is going to be painful for them.

Just saw a commercial for Khloe and Lamar’s new show from TX. Does it ever end? I’m sure Rob will tag along to live with them as well. And don’t forget all the other Kardashians ‘visiting’ Khloe–more TV time for them. Ugh!

I saw this coming from a mile away! If you really step back and look, Khloe is the only one with any common sense. I was skeptical when she married Lamar Odom so quick, but it looks like there is real love there. Kourtney and Kim are both a little off to me. I do not feel sorry for Kris Humphries because watching him on the New York show, he is an immature, pompus jerk!!

IThe Forbes follow up article to the NY Post’s article is so obvious that the Kardashians were desperate for damage control. As fast as the Forbes writer wrote their article (disagreeing with the NY Post line by line) there was no way for them to have time to get accurate information. Everything the NY Post wrote about the Forbes article disagreed. More scare tactics by the Kartrashians! Sign the petition at boycottkim.com and help get rid of this disgusting family!

As much as I agree and “would” sign the petition– doesn’t anyone else see anything wrong with the only way to sign being Facebook? Facebook is as arrogant ( if not more so)- than the Kardasians—- i.e. Should I care to exercise my “right of free speech”– I must first “sign in”- make my identity known- to possible anyone that advertises and financially supports Facebook – in addition to exposure to identity theft? All this “social network” dependence- is really the problem– everyone used to worry about “BIg Brother- the Gov’t”– dont have to anymore- Facebook can provide them with more information faster & cheaper than they ever could…..who is to say the gov’t can’t monitor Facebook– if you can shut down the net- I am sure you can monitor it….
