Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend sold the first photos of their newborn son Levi to OK! magazine for $3 million, TMZ reported.
J. Lo and Marc Anthony sold their baby photos to People Magazine for $6 million. And Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie scored $11 million for the first photos of their twins.
“The one thing that we have to remember, that unless they release pictures there would have been paparazzi on their doorstep and it would not have stopped until that first picture was out,” said Melanie Bromley with US Weekly.
Beyonce made her first appearance since giving birth on Jan. 8 at her husband’s charity concert last week.
Last month, the couple also filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to protect Blue Ivy’s name and reserve it for a future line of baby carriages and other accessories.
The show included a performance of the song Jay-Z wrote for their daughter.
