The judges on " American Idol" sent Jeremy Rosado home on Thursday night's show.

Based on America's vote, Jeremy was the bottom guy and Elise Testone was the bottom girl. Judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler had the final say between those two this week and chose to save Elise.

Erika Van Pelt and Shannon Magrane joined Elise as the bottom three girls while Jermaine Jones and Joshua Ledet rounded out the bottom three guys. They'll all be back to compete next week.

The top 13 kicked the night off with a group performance of Stevie Wonder's "As."

Despite reports he'd been rushed to the hospital earlier in the day, Phillip Phillips performed in the opening number. Phillip later told Ryan Seacrest he only went to the doctor and was doing fine.

Last year's runner up Lauren Alaina returned to the show to sing her latest single, "Georgia Peaches."

This week's mentor, Mary J. Blige, returned to sing her latest single, "Why."

The top 12 contestants will perform on American Idol this Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
