Don't look for Rihanna and KISS to perform together anytime soon.
The group's frontman Gene Simmons took a swipe at the pop star during a press conference Tuesday. While announcing his band's tour with Motley Crue, Simmons the show would feature live rock and roll, with absolutely no lip-synching.
"We are sick and tired of girls getting up there with dancers and karaoke tapes in back of them," Simmons said. "What you're gonna hear on stage is live music. The guys you see on stage playing their instruments are playing their instruments. No karaoke singers allowed. No fake bulls***- leave that to the Rihanna, Schmihanna and anybody who ends their name with an 'a.' This is real stuff."
KISS guitarist Paul Stanley added, "When you think about a lot of the shows you go to see, they're not live! You go to these shows and you go, 'Wow, it sounds just like my album.' It IS the album."
