Lil Wayne was a no-show on the latest Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel, so Kimmel interviewed a fake Lil Wayne.
Kimmel told audience members after commercial break that the rapper guest was "unavailable" at the moment.
"I hope he hasn't been incarcerated again," Kimmel said.
Kimmel pulled up a member from the audience, a librarian named Carl, to sit in for Lil Wayne.
"This will be even better," said Kimmel.
Kimmel introduced Carl, who donned a wig and hat to play the part, as the most popular rapper in the world.
The host asked about the rapper's jail time and his friendship with Justin Bieber. Carl was largely baffled about how to answer.
