Third 'Hangover' Film Set for Release Memorial Day Weekend 2013

"The Wolfpack" will be back for a third "Hangover" movie. Warner Bros. officially announced Thursday that another sequel in the comedy series will be released May 24, 2013, during Memorial Day weekend, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The franchise's three main cast members, Bradley Cooper, Zack Galafianakis and Ed Helms, will all return for the flick.

"The Hangover" director Todd Phillips vows that the series will end with the third movie. He says, "It will be a fitting conclusion to our three-part opera of mayhem, despair and bad decisions." Aside from that description, there's no official word yet on the plot.

The first "Hangover" film, released in 2009, grossed over 467 million dollars worldwide. Last year's sequel, "The Hangover Part 2," raised over 580 million at the global box office.

Warner Bros. also announced Thursday that a follow-up to the 2007 blockbuster action flick 300 will hit theaters Aug. 2, 2013.
