A new trailer for Ridley Scott's "Alien" prequel "Prometheus" hit the Internet, and it's the most intense yet.

This latest sneak peek gives more detail about the story, in which a group of explorers - including Oscar winner Charlize Theron and Idris Elba - answer an intergalactic invitation to find an alien species, but the humans soon find the extraterrestrials are anything but friendly, and their discovery could mean the end of Earth itself.

"Prometheus" opens June 8th.
