'That '70s Show' Bombshell Lisa Robin Kelly Charged With Domestic Violence
Nothing knocks the Hollywood glam right off your face like getting arrested.
Actress Lisa Robin Kelly, who is most famous for playing Laurie Foreman on " That '70s Show," was arrested and charged with domestic violence over the weekend, according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman.
On the show, Laurie was the promiscuous and slightly evil older sister to the show's main character, Eric Foreman, played by Topher Grace. She was the blond bombshell who never had any trouble getting men, but when Kelly's mugshot surfaced showing a more haggard actress with smeared eye liner and bags under her eyes, the Internet was abuzz with comments.
Kelly, 42, was taken into custody at 12:50 a.m. on Saturday by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, TMZ first reported. A sheriff's department spokesman told ABCNews.com Kelly was released shortly after posting $50,000 bail, but declined to comment any further.
Charges have not yet been filed with the Los Angeles District Attorney's office.
This isn't Kelly's first tangle with the law. In 2010, Kelly pled guilty to a DUI charge in North Carolina, was sentenced to 12 months of unsupervised probation and ordered to pay a fine, according to TMZ.
"That '70s Show," which helped launch the acting careers of Grace, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, was a TV sitcom about the antics of a group of ruffian teenagers growing up in a small Wisconsin town in the '70s. The show went off the air in 2006. Kelly left "That '70s Show" in 2003 and has not done much acting since, aside from a stint in a comedy short in 2005, according to IMDB.com.
