Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers recently had five guitars stolen from them, and they're offering a reward in return for any information regarding their whereabouts.

A post on the band's official website states five of their guitars were stolen from a soundstage in Culver City, California, where they've been rehearsing for their U.S. tour, which launches this week. Photos of the guitars - including Tom Petty's 1967 Rickenbacker 360/12 and 1965 Gibson SG TV Junior - are also posted on the website.

The band is offering a $7,500 reward for information leading to the recovery of the guitars. They also urge anyone with information to contact the Culver City Police Department, or the band at StolenGuitars@TomPetty.com.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers begin their U.S. tour this Wednesday in Broomfield, Colorado.
