During his appearance on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" last week, Jason Segel said he received what he described as "a rejection letter" from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton regarding his comment that he'd love to make a movie with her.
According to Politico, The Muppets star was not kidding. The political blog has posted a copy of the signed note from the secretary of state, which reveals a working knowledge of Segel's movies and a sense of humor.
Signed simply, "Hillary," the brief letter states: "As you can imagine, I am a little occupied at the moment, but perhaps someday I can help you forget Sarah Marshall…again."
Clinton noted one condition - that there be Muppets involved. She called the clause non-negotiable.
Clinton concluded her letter by writing, "You have my best wishes for continued success with your career."
