Michelle Obama Wishes She Was Beyonce
Being the first lady of the United States undoubtedly has its perks, but that doesn't stop Michelle Obama from envying the lives of others. Asked by People magazine who she'd be if she could be someone else, Mrs. Obama told the magazine, "Gosh. If I had some gift, I'd be Beyonce, I'd be some great singer."
Obama is certainly a household name in her own right, so why be Blue Ivy's mom? She told People, "The power of music, being able to play an instrument … It looks like musicians just have the most fun."
Back in April, Beyonce penned an open letter expressing how highly she thinks of Obama, lauding the first lady for being a "caring mother" and "loving wife," and standing firm under pressure. Shortly after that, Obama returned the love in a tweet, saluting Beyonce for being a good role model herself.
Beyonce also serenaded the first couple with Etta James' "At Last" on the night of President Obama's inauguration.
