Magic Mike star Matthew McConaughey will wed his longtime girlfriend model Camila Alves in a "weekend affair," according to E! News.

E! said the wedding will take place in McConaughey's home state of Texas this weekend. The couple reportedly invited less than two dozen to their top-secret nuptials.

The 42-year-old actor popped the question to Alves on Christmas Day. He announced the news via his WhoSay page, writing, "Just asked Camila to marry me, Merry Christmas."

The pair began dating in 2006 and have two children together: Vida, 2, and Levi, who turns 4 in July.
