A full-length trailer for the latest Bourne film, starring The Avengers actor Jeremy Renner, has hit the Web.

In The Bourne Legacy, Renner plays Aaron Cross, who essentially replaces the Jason Bourne character made famous by Matt Damon in the previous films in the series.

Cross is much like Bourne - he's a trained assassin on the run. The trailer also includes appearances by Renner's co-stars including Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton, the latter of whom plays a bad guy. There are plenty of references to Bourne in the trailer, too.

The Bourne Legacy opens August 3.
