"Going back over the tapes, there were signs: Holmes was certainly very aware of herself, laying a couple cards on the table but never showing her whole hand," McKinnon added.
Holmes, who is featured on the cover of the September issue of C Magazine , seemed to be uncomfortable when McKinnon asked whether daughter Suri brought her and Tom closer together.
Holmes replied, "I don't know. I mean, I don't know. People have been having babies a long time."
Meanwhile, Tom Cruise is back in London to film his new movie "All You Need Is Kill," and is reportedly looking for a new apartment in New York so that he can be close to Suri. The 6-year-old will be reportedly primarily be living with Holmes, but Cruise has been given visitation rights.
A source tells the New York Post that Cruise is seeking a new luxury home that is private and will be large enough for Suri to play in.
