Paris Jackson Lashes Out at Family Members on Twitter
Three years after Michael Jackson's death there is still some fighting among family members, which has just gone public thanks to a Twitter war between daughter Paris Jackson and one of her famous uncles.
Randy Jackson has taken to Twitter, questioning his late brother's will and says Janet Jackson is furious with Paris for landing a role in an upcoming movie. Jackson also claimed that his mother, Katherine, is in poor health. Katherine was named the permanent guardian of her late son's children.
The 14-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson responded to her uncle on Twitter with a cyber -slap and also answered rumors about her grandmother's health.
Paris tweeted, "I will defend my beloved family member with all I have …"
Paris then specifically named Randy Jackson in one tweet saying, "@randyjackson8 hello dear FAMILY member I don't appreciate you yelling everyone things that aren't true thank you very much." That tweet has since been taken down.
"There is often a rift in the Jackson family over something and one thing that there is always a rift over is how the kids should be raised," said Us Weekly's Ian Drew.
Paris Jackson broke the news to Ellen DeGeneres that she'd landed a role in the movie "Lundon's Bridge and The Three Keys," and was inspired by her father.
"We would … improve together. He would give us little scenarios. He would say, 'OK, in this scene you're going to cry.' And I'd cry on the spot," Jackson told DeGeneres.
Janet Jackson told Prevention magazine in May that "Now is not the time. I told her I thought she should enjoy being a kid, possibly go to college - or not - but wait till she turns 18."
"She [Janet Jackson] knows that that is what Michael wanted," said Drew.
Michael Jackson lamented over losing his youth to the business he gave his life to. He told Oprah Winfrey, "I remember going to the recording studio there was a park across the street, and I'd see all the children playing, making noise. And I would cry."
"Katherine is letting Paris do what Paris wants to do. This is what Paris wants to do," said Drew.
Throw into that mix a letter that just leaked, signed by the siblings, calling Michael Jackson's will "fake, flawed and fraudulent." Janet, Jermaine, Tito, Randy and Rebbie, are contesting the will, which left Jackson's fortune to his mother and three kids. Randy Jackson claims the executors of the will are stressing out his mother, who he claims just suffered a mini-stroke.
"Nothing has happened," Paris tweeted. "She is completely fine."
