Vivienne Jolie-Pitt Lands First Film Role
Four-year-old Vivienne Jolie-Pitt is making her film debut alongside her famous mother, Angelina Jolie.
The Walt Disney Studios confirmed Wednesday to ABC News that Vivienne, one of Jolie and Brad Pitt's six children, will play a minor role as the child version of Princess Aurora opposite her mother in "Maleficent."
Aurora, later portrayed by Elle Fanning, grows up to be evil Maleficent's target in this live-action "Sleeping Beauty" tale. Jolie portrays the title character.
Production on the film began in London in June. "Maleficent," which also stars Sharlto Copley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson and Lesley Manville, is scheduled to hit theaters in March 2014.
Among Pitt and Jolie's six children - Maddox, 11, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 6, and 4-year-old twins, Vivienne and Knox - Vivienne is not the first to grace the big screen. That honor belongs to Shiloh, who was 10 months old when she had a cameo role in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" as Pitt and Cate Blanchett's daughter.
