Pint-sized reality television star Snooki and her fiance, Jionni LaValle, welcomed their baby boy into the world early this morning.

Lorenzo Dominic LaValle was born in a New Jersey hospital, weight 6 pounds and 5 ounces.

"I am SO IN LOVE with my son Lorenzo Dominic ! I had my little man last night, healthy at 6lbs! HE'S MY WORLD! ?," Snooki tweeted.

"The world just got another Guido," a representative for Snooki said in a statement.

Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, rose to fame on the MTV hit series "Jersey Shore."

The reality star has behaved herself since she announced her pregnancy and engagement to LaValle on a spinoff show, "Snooki and JWoww."

MTV released a statement this morning congratulating the new parents.

"We couldn't be happier for Nicole and Jionni on the healthy delivery of their baby boy!" the network said. "We look forward to Lorenzo's first trip to the Jersey Shore and can't wait to see his first animal print onesie."

The last four months of Snooki's pregnancy will be featured on the next season of "Jersey Shore," which premieres in October.

MTV, which airs "Jersey Shore," released a statement congratulating the new parents. The network said, "We couldn't be happier for Nicole and Jionni on the healthy delivery of their baby boy!" It added, "We look forward to Lorenzo's first trip to the Jersey Shore and can't wait to see his first animal print onesie."

Snooki's "Jersey Shore" pal, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, visited the new mom and baby on Sunday and tweeted, "Lorenzo is the cutest baby I've ever seen. Love him already." Snooki responded, "Aw, thank you auntie!"

Uncle Pauly D tweeted, "I Love It This Time A Yearrr When Baby Lorenzo's Here !!!!! Congrats @snooki And @JLaValle !!! #BabyBlowout"

Sammi tweeted, "Congrats @snooki !!!!! So happy for you."

Vinny wrote: "I'm finally an uncle!!! Congrats @snooki and @JLaValle! Can't wait to meet #babylorenzo!"

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino tweeted: "Congrats to Nicole and jionni on their healthy baby boy! All the best! @snooki"
