Wynonna Judd's Husband in Serious Motorcycle Accident
Wynonna Judd's husband, who is also her drummer, has been seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in South Dakota.
Michael Scott "Cactus" Moser and Judd went for a ride on separate bikes in Deadwood, S.D., on Friday before a scheduled concert, which Judd cancelled after the accident.
Moser collided with an oncoming vehicle and was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated for "serious but non-life threatening injuries," Judd's representatives said in a statement.
Moser received citations for crossing the center line and not having a license to operate a motorcycle, The Associated Press reported.
The country star announced today she will postpone concerts scheduled in Canada next week in order to be with her husband.
"The outpouring of prayer and support from friends, family and fans has been a blessing to both Cactus and I. Cactus is a champion. I love him deeply and I will not leave his side," Judd said in a statement.
The couple were married in a sunset wedding on June 10 at Judd's farm in Leiper's Fork, Tenn.
