Former “One Day at a Time” star Bonnie Franklin has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, according to USA Today, citing a family spokesperson. The 68-year-old actress is undergoing treatment.

On “One Day at a Time,” which aired from 1975 to 1984, Franklin played the single mother of two daughters. The daughters were played by Valerie Bertinelli and Mackenzie Phillips.

“Sending out love and sweet prayers to my ‘mom.’ The incomparable Bonnie Franklin,” Phillips tweeted Monday

Franklin recently appeared on Bertinelli’s TV Land comedy, “Hot in Cleveland,” and the CBS soap opera “The Young and the Restless.”
