LOS ANGELES, Calif - Even for those who didn't go home with heavy gold trophies, the Emmys had some pretty sweet consolation prizes. Swag suites popped up all over L.A. over the weekend, gifting stars with everything from the luxe (Brahmin leather handbags at the HBO Luxury Lounge) to the ordinary but what the hey, they'll take it anyway. (GBK gave out loads of soap and hummus - who doesn't want soap and hummus?)

In no particular order, our awards for best swag go to:

New Balance. The sneaker makers have come up with a trail running shoe that actually looks like something you'd want to wear when you're not covered in mud. Among the stars that stopped by the presenter's gift lounge for a pair of Minimus 1010s: Kerry Washington, Padma Lakshmi, and Ron Howard.

Foster Grant. Not only are these sunglasses cool (they've been a Hollywood staple since the '50s), they're also for a good cause. For every pair of sunglasses Foster Grant gifted to a celebrity at the GBK lounge in the W Hotel, one was donated to charity. Mayim Bialik, Anthony Anderson, and Bruno Tonioli snapped up aviators and wayfarers.

L'Oreal. A little pampering never hurt anyone. HBO's Luxury Lounge featured hair styling and makeovers from the L'Oreal team, plus manicures by Tom Bachik, the man Beyonce and J-Lo call when they need their nails done, because shiny fingertips look good even when they're not wrapped around a gold statue.
