After months of speculation, Shakira has confirmed that she's pregnant.

"As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby! At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days," she wrote on Facebook today.

The Colombian singer also bowed out of her scheduled performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas this weekend. "I'm sure this weekend in Las Vegas will be spectacular and I will be closely following everything that happens there," she wrote.

Shakira, 35, has been dating pro soccer player Gerard Pique for more than a year. A baby won't be the only life change coming up for the "Hips Don't Lie" singer. Earlier this week, NBC confirmed that Shakira and Usher will help judge season four of "The Voice."
