Daniel Craig Cries to Adele
Any time Adele hits her high notes, there's no denying the girl has pipes. Not even James Bond himself can hold it together when Adele shows her chops.
Daniel Craig, the star of the new James Bond film " Skyfall," said he got emotional when he heard Adele's voice in the theme song for the flick.
"I cried," Craig told Yahoo! Movies. "From the opening bars I knew immediately, then the voice kicked in and it was exactly what I'd wanted from the beginning. It just got better and better because it fitted the movie. In fact the more of the movie we made, the more it fitted it."
The singer was tight-lipped about whether she'd be belting the film's theme. Director Sam Mendes sent Adele an early copy of the script to help her compose the song.
"She came in very early before we started shooting and her main concern was 'I write songs about myself, how can I make a Bond song? My answer was 'just write a personal song'! Carly Simon's 'Nobody Does It Better' was a love song," Craig said.
"Skyfall" is set to hit theaters Nov. 9.
