New details show that rapper Flavor Flav attacked his girlfriend and her 17-year-old son before he was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor domestic violence Wednesday morning.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received a call at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday from Elizabeth Trujillo who said that she had a fight with her fiancé who also threatened her son, ABC affiliate KTNV reported.

When police arrived, they heard a verbal argument between a man and a woman. Trujillo said the argument started because Flavor Flav, whose name is William Drayton, Jr., cheated on her.

Drayton allegedly threw Trujillo on the floor twice and her left earring was ripped out during the altercation.

Drayton then allegedly wrestled with Trujillo's 17-year-old son and grabbed two knives from the kitchen before chasing the teen upstairs. The teen locked himself in his sister's room where Drayton allegedly kicked in the door and threatened the teen's life, KTNV reported.

Drayton confirmed to police most of what happened but denied chasing and threatening the teen. The rapper had a cut on his left hand and the knives were found on the kitchen floor.

He was arrested and transported to the Clark County Detention Center.

"Flavor Flav is currently at home with his family and will present the facts of yesterday's events during his upcoming hearing to set the record straight," his manager, Clifton Johnson, said in a statement to ABCNews.com. "Based on current information, Flavor Flav will be able to meet all of his commitments and perform in the UK later this month."
