Is Bobbi Kristina Really Engaged?

In a new promo for Lifetime's reality show "The Houstons: On Our Own," premiering Oct. 24, Bobbi Kristina Brown flashes a sapphire rock that belonged to her late mother, Whitney Houston, looks at her childhood friend Nick Gordon, and nervously announces to her family, "We're engaged."
That doesn't mean she and Gordon actually are engaged.
Rumors about Brown and Gordon's engagement started months ago. They've been repeatedly shot down. In the clip, Brown's aunt Pat Houston calls the engagement "unacceptable," and earlier this week, she told ABCNews.com that Brown and Gordon merely have a "very, very strong friendship."
"A lot of teenagers, when they hit 18, they think they're grown," Houston told ABCNews.com. "They think they know it all, they think they know about relationships. You just have to be there to navigate and guide them."
She added, "You have to hope that their feelings will not get hurt, but they will," suggesting that Gordon and Brown won't be headed down the aisle anytime soon.
