Gwinnett County, Georgia, authorities are seeking information regarding the accidental death of Natina Reed from the R&B group Blaque. Reed, 32, was fatally struck by a car late Friday night while standing in a roadway just north of Lilburn.

The unidentified driver of the vehicle called police after the accident. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, police are seeking "anyone who might have information about anything that could help us determine why she was there, anything to help us understand how this came together." A police spokesperson added that the driver does not appear to be at fault and will likely not face any charges.

Reed's fellow Blaque member Shamari Fears-DeVoe tweeted Saturday, "My world as I know it has forever changed. Until we meet again, may you find comfort in the arms of an angel. I love you Natina."

Blaque member Brandi Williams tweeted, "Last night the world was changed forever, life will never be the same…she was my sister."

Later in a joint statement, Fears-DeVoe and Williams remembered Reed for "her undeniable creativity" that "touched the hearts of fans everywhere. Natina was a mother, sister, accomplished songwriter, artist and friend." They said Blaque had reunited and was in the process of recording a new album and a taping a reality show. The group's previous hits include "808? and "Bring It All to Me."

Reed was the protégé of the late TLC singer Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, who was killed in a 2002 car crash in La Ceiba, Honduras. She and her band mates also starred in the 2000 cheerleading movie "Bring It On."

Reed, a New York City native, is survived by a 10-year-old son, Tren Brown, from her relationship with the rapper Kurupt.
